Stephen “Sundance” Evans
Stephan Evans AKA Bboy Sundance has been dancing for 12 years, focusing mainly in the art of breaking. He began his training in California & moved to Arizona in 2000. He is a proud member of one of Arizona’s top b-boy crews, Mellow Drama Crew, as well as a member of Automatic Response Perfornance Company in Phoenix, AZ. Stephan is a passionate & dedicated teacher & competitor.
Ryan Ingram
Ryan Ingram started his dance career in the summer of 1996 by traveling to London and Paris with a small group of performers from the US. Since then he has become an accomplished instructor, choreographer and event producer. His talents have led him throughout the US, Canada and Europe. He has performance credits that include Randy Jackson’s “America’s Best Dance Crew,” the Fox Teen Choice Awards, Neil Young, KRS ONE, 2000 Democratic National Convention, House of Blues and The Source “Sound Lab.” In his work he has collaborated with groups and choreographers such as Rock Steady Crew, Jabbawockeez, Napolean and Tabitha Dumo. Ryan has also had a successful MC/DJ career to parallel his dancing credits. He is the founder and director of both All the Right Moves after school Hip-Hop program and Automatic Response performance company. All The Right Moves was established in 2004 with the intent of providing outstanding after-school programs to the Arizona schools. The program is currently involved in 8 districts and is working with Title 1 schools bringing art and dance to the community. All The right Moves is also committed to supporting local charities and raising funds for non-profit organizations. They hold an annual fundraiser, “Dancing for Donations” in which 100% of the proceeds are distributed to Child Help USA and The Phoenix Children’s Project. All The Right Moves embraces any opportunity to be of service to the community and is dedicated to helping those in need. Automatic Response is a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, high-energy performance company who has captivated unsuspecting audiences with their diversity, skill and passion in the art of entertainment and dance. In addition, Automatic Response has an apprentice group called the Pre-Omatics and the Ill-Matics who are an all-star cast of the most talented students that train and perform with the members of AR. The Pre-Omatics are currently the 2008 Gold Medal champions for Hip Hop International’s, “ USA Hip Hop Championships.”
Nathalie Velasquez
Nathalie began dancing at the age of eight, and now shares her passion and knowledge of dance all over the Valley of the Sun. Her dance experience includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, Hula, Filipino Folk, and Rhythm and Smooth Ballroom. She currently teaches for All the Right Moves, Dynamic Dance Motion in Anthem, and Shadow Mountain High School as their Choir Choreographer. Some of her larger projects include the Artistic Director and Choreographer for: Miss Teen World 2007, Miss Hawaii Teen America 2007 and the Miss Teen World 2008. Nathalie enjoys being the active President of the Filipino American Youth Association of Arizona (FAYA), and playing the piano. Nathalie graduated from Horizon High School, and is currently studying Accounting with an emphasis on Education.
Marco Marcial
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona Marco Marcial (Bboy Marco) fell in love with the Hip Hop Culture at age 9. His focus and passion is mainly in the art of Breaking (B-boying). Marco began training at age 11 and has been Breakdancing, competing and performing professionally ever since.
Now at the age of 28 Marco enjoys teaching others what he loves! He has been working with kids in an after school program called All The Right Moves for the past 5 years. He’s been a competitor and performer for Battle Of The Year, Break Feast, Celebration of Dance, WNBA Phoenix Mercury halftime show, Furious Styles Crew Anniversary, Kings of AZ, Freestyle Session, Top Dog , The Undadog and battles throughout the state of Arizona.
He also has experience dancing with Arizona dance companies Automatic Response and EPIK Dance Co. Most Recently EPIK was name one of the two Finalists in the 2008 Phoenix’s Best Dance Crew Competition and Perform during the pre-show for the “America’s Best Dance Crew” concert at Dodge Theater. Marco is a proud member of one of Arizona’s top B-boy crews “Mellow Drama Crew”. He is a passionate and dedicated teacher and competitor.
Lauren Meyer
Born and raised in AZ, I have been dancing since the age of 3. Originally trained in all areas of dance (jazz, tap, ballet, etc.) I now am focused and only on Hip Hop as a culture and an art form. I have been apart of Automatic Response since 2005 and have been teaching for All The Right Moves since 2006. Also, I am a graduate from Arizona State University with my Bachelors in Psychology.
Johanna Salumbides
Johanna Margaret Velasquez Salumbides was born in Queens, New York and raised in Chicago, Illinois. As a little girl, Johanna trained in ice-skating, tennis, dance, gymnastics, choir, piano and flute. In 2000, Johanna moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she took her dancing and acting to another level. Along with FP Dance Crew and Bender Performing Arts, Johanna studied varies forms of dance and drama. Johanna graduated from Agua Fria High School in 2007, where she was very active in dance, cheer and theatre. As a little girl, her dreams were to become an actress and performer. Her first starring role was at age 4 in the popular film, “Miracle on 34th Street”. Her other credits in both film and theatre include: Spike Network’s mini series, “S.I.S,” “Sweeney Todd,” “Annie,” and many more. Johanna was also crowned 1st runner-up in Ms. Philippines Arizona 2006 and Agua Fria Homecoming Queen of her senior class of 2006-2007. Johanna also assisted Miss Teen World US 2007, Miss Teen World US 2008, and Miss Arizona Teen America 2008. Johanna now teaches hip hop for an after school program called “All the Right Moves” and works part time with a financial services company called World Financial Group. Johanna is also very active in the Filipino community as Treasurer for the Filipino American Youth Association of Arizona (FAYA). Along with her cousin Nathalie Velasquez, Johanna co-founded Prima Dancerz Productionz; performing and coordinating shows and events. Johanna is currently going to school for her bachelors in nursing and hopes to one day pursue a career in acting and dance.
Jayar Fernandez
Jayar started dancing the traditional Filipino folk dance at a young age, traveling with companies such as FAAAZ and Filipino Dance Company of AZ. Its not till he was 8 when he was introduced to the art of bboying and hip hop. it was only 18 when he started taking breakin’ serious, and by the age of 19 he landed his first ever major dance show, performing for major cosmetic line Mary Kay in their annual Leadership convention, growthing more than 4,000 audience members a show. Some credits include Copper Canyon High School, Millennium High School, Miss Teen World 2008, PIDC talent show winner, and 2009 Celebration of Dance with Epik Dance Co. Other talents include guitar, piano, music recording/producing, and acting. This is his first year with All The Right Moves and enjoys teaching the kids and helping them get a better understanding of not only breakin’ but also the hip hop culture.
